The zeller lake (4,5km²) is an ideal play park who love water, with large lawned bathing beaches you can also hire canoes, kayaks, pedal boats or even take a trip on one the large boats across the lake or the circular tour.
There are also free swimming points around the lake.
Cycling and Mountain biking:
The many well signposted paths are recognised to be the best by people from all over the world.
From the most difficult mountain biking tours to light and scenic jolllies.
Other sports like golf, horse riding, yachting, para-gliding, mountain climbing, para-sailing, sailing, motorbiking, rafting, canyoning, etc.... are all readily available on our doorstep.
Cultural Highlights:
We have two summer lakeside festivals with fireworks, the nearby Kaprun castle has jousting festivals, we have weekly music festivals in the streets of Zell am See, and in Winter the wonderful Christmas markets.
Just 5kms away starts the ascent to the Grossglockner high alpine road (Austrias highest mountain) and just over one hour away is the famous historical city of Salzburg.
